Mega Pixel Interpolation
is a method of constructing new data points within the
range of a discrete set of known data points using the
orignal PICture ELement thus pixels. By using advanced
mathematics and computing algorithm, a 12 Mega Pixel Interpolated
capture is therefore rendered into a high-quality photo
approximately 4640x3480= over 16 million pixels in size.
A 5 Mega Pixel photo has around 2592x1944= 5 million pixels.
Pixel count may vary depending on the sensor aspect ratio
in each camera design.

Digital Still and Video Camera, the HDDV-2880 records video
and picture files directly to SD media (supports up to 8GB).
The native 5.0 mega pixel CMOS sensor is capable of producing
16 mega pixels interpolated images in unsurpassed high-quality
with settings of 1.2M, 3.0M, 5.0M, 7M and 16M resolutions.
Basic settings like language preference, date and time, mode
selection, formatting internal and external memory can be
set easily via an intuitive setup menu on our exclusive next
generation cool blue back-lit touch menu buttons. Image shooting
by using the 8x digital zoom and preview it via the 2.5" LTPS
TFT rotatable LCD display. Take self-photo by rotating the
LCD and preview it, collapsing the display against the camera
and use it as a multi-media player. Built-in flash sets easily
using auto, force and no flash modes that can be used in conjunction
with the self-timer LED; can be set up to 10 seconds. The
included rechargeable lithium battery provides continuous
operation without interruption and when needed, the battery
is rechargable by the AC/DC charger. The SVP HDDV-2880 can
also be used as a digital voice recorder. You can also read
a book using the e-book mode as a book reader. If desired,
image and video files can be viewed on a TV using the TV-out
mode and the included TV-out cable on any TV with RCA input
that supports PAL and NTSC.
